Play or Watch Grandmaster Levon Aronian in Glendale

We have another exciting chess event to announce! Ahead of the Southern California Open taking place over Labor Day weekend, we will host a simultaneous chess exhibition with Grandmaster Levon Aronian.
The event starts at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, at The Center for Armenian Arts, 250 N. Orange St., Glendale, CA 91203.
Levon is one of the world’s elite chess players. He helped Armenia win team gold at three Chess Olympiads. During the exhibition, he will take on multiple opponents at once.
General admission is free, while participation in the simultaneous chess exhibition is $50. Spots are limited, so register in advance to play. Whether you plan to play or watch, we hope to see you there.
